Baykal 3X USB is a copy-protected USB set created exclusively for Korg Pa3X users. It has a capacity of 128 MB and can only be used on the Korg Pa3X, Pa4X, Pa5X, Pa700 and Pa1000 series. After more than a year of Sound and Performance testing, it was completed and released for sale on 5 July 2012.

All the Sounds and rhythms from our earlier Baykal USB are included in Baykal 3X USB in revised versions, and a 125 MB sample library was built from samples and Drum kits prepared especially for the Korg Pa3X and other compatible models. To achieve much better performance on the compatible Korg Pa series, the Styles and Performance sounds from Baykal USB were extended with 3–5 effects, and Fill-ins 1, 2, 3 and 4 were revised so that they work flawlessly with the Auto Fill feature. The drum sets of the Styles from Baykal USB were updated with Pa3X drum sounds, and all Drum kits were re-tuned and processed with effects again.

For use in updates, two new Drum kits were created from samples recorded in professional studios with some of the best musicians in Turkey. Three MaxxAudio presets for playing different styles of music were prepared and saved in the Global settings. The user can choose a ready-made General Sound Check setting in the style they like and adjust the mastering to their own taste. Two vocal settings for the TC-Helicon Voice Processor were saved in the Global settings. The Volume, Low, Mid and High settings of the Pads belonging to all Styles were checked and adjusted for each Style.
